Our main reason for our visit to St. George this past weekend was to see Grandma Rau. She has been sick for a while and they weren't sure how much longer she would be with us. Well we just got a phone call from James' mother this morning saying that she had passed away.
I was so happy that we got the opportunity to see her one more time and that she is in a better place. I have always loved Grandma Rau from the first time that I met her she reminded me so much of my Grandma. When James and I decided to get married she treated me as though I was one of her grandchildren.
She had such a love for her family and for her Grandchildren and her Great Grandchildren and for anyone that came into her life she was an amazing person and I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and have her in my life.

I am so sorry to hear about James' grandmother. I am so glad you were able to go down and see her. It's times like that you think about how much you love your family and how greatful you are to have made the extra effort to stay close.
How lucky you guys were to have such a wonderful woman in your lives! I am glad you were able to see her one last time. Sending my love your way!
