Funny things kids do.

I went out to get Kaeden from the bus. (Kaeden rides the bus from school) And the bus driver handed me a cup with dirt in it and said when Kaeden got on the bus there were green things growing in the cup. But when they got to our house the green stuff was all gone.

We asked Kaeden if there were green things growing in his cup and he said yes but I weeded it on the bus. Sad to say he was ripping out the flowers that they had grown.

“I don’t want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor’s children.
