It's a BIG one..........
Jakob went fishing with James today and he caught his first fish and reeled it in all by himself. James recorded this video of him reeling it in. It had me laughing.
Jakob with his 16 inch fish. He was so proud.

Reminiscing.....
With all the talk of Hurricane Ike, I have been thinking about all my friends in Houston. And how I miss them (yes Lyn you were right) I made some really good friends in Houston and I'm grateful for the opportunity that I had to live there and get to know all of them including these amazing ladies.
Also including Jean who wasn't present that day. You guys made my Wed. nights. Miss you all...........................................

Enjoying Autumn
We have been enjoying the great outdoors and the cool weather before it gets to cold. We decided to take a hike on Friday with my sister Krystalin and her son Brooks and my mom.
Then Sunday afternoon we decided to go on a walk around Cascade Springs and look at all the leaves changing it was so beautiful.

Happy Birthday Little Sis
I wanted to wish my little sister Kelsey a Happy Birthday she is 23 today. Kelsey is a great sister. I shared a room with her growing up and secretly always wished that I had her confidence and her wardrobe. She is a great Aunt to the boys and they love to be with her. She also tells me that she loves spending time with them because they are the best form of birth control for her right now. (Is that a compliment) I hope she has a great Birthday.
I love this picture even though it is 3 1/2 years ago.

First Day of School

Today was Jakob's first day of of Kindergarten. He is going all day and he loves it he was so excited to go to school this morning.
I walked him into class and Jakob immediately said see you later mom and that was that. I can't believe how fast they grow.
Today was also Kaeden's first day of Preschool. We took him to school and as we were walking him to class he kept saying my school. He loved wearing a backpack like Jakob.
