This Christmas was an amazing experience for our family. As most people know James was laid off in the middle of October and we haven't found a new job yet. And money is getting tight. Well this Christmas we received the love from our ward and the love of others. I love this gospel and I'm very grateful for the love of the Savior and that we are able to celebrate his birth.
The boys on Christmas Eve. It is tradition in my family that my dad always reads the nativity from the scriptures on Christmas Eve then we exchange gifts.

We took a mini vacation to Tempe, Arizona. James' good friend Jeff was getting married. We had a lot of fun we spent the morning at the Phoenix Zoo. Then later that evening we attended Jeff and Michelle's wedding.

We stopped at the Grand Canyon. Jakob really enjoyed it. He wanted us to read every sign and wanted his picture taken from every outlook.
We found a little deli on the way out of the canyon and told Jakob the name of the deli was called Jacob deli and he said we are going to eat at a deli named after me. My boys are so funny they make road trips so interesting.

James: I don't have One.
Jakob: Hold on dad I'll make you one.
Jakob went into the kitchen and pulled out his markers and Scissors and made James a symbol. It had a S and D on it James asked Jakob what it stood for and Jakob said "SUPER DAD".
