Halloween Party

The boys had so much fun at our ward Halloween party on saturday. Jakob chose to be a knight this year so automatically Kaeden was made a dragon.

Spending time fishing

James has been taking Jakob fishing. Jakob loves it he comes home so excited. They ended up catching 3 fish this time.

Best Halloween book

I got this book for Jakob last year. I read it to him every Halloween. I think I found it funnier than he did. It is such a reminder for me of what I remember about Halloween as a kid. If you haven't read it yet you need to get it.

How long have you been together? Married for 6 years

How old is he? 31 he is two years older than me

Who eats more? I snack through out the day but he eats more at meals.

Who said I love you first? Me

Who is taller? He is 5'10 and I'm 5'8

Who sings better? We both sing well.

Who is smarter? I like to think that we are pretty equal.

Whose temper is worse? Depends on the topic.

Who does the laundry? I do the laundry.

Who does the dishes? I do the dishes more but James is very good at helping out.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I always sleep closest to the door. I have always done that since we have had the kids.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who mows the lawn? We don't have to mow any lawns yet. But James would.

Who cooks dinner? We usually do it together.

Who drives when you are together? James always drives.

Who is more stubborn? Again it depends on the topic.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I am.

Whose parents do you see the most? We see my parents more. We live 15 minutes away. James' parents live about 4 1/2 hours away.

Who kissed who first? James did. But I kissed him right back.

Who asked who out? I did. We went mountain biking.

Who proposed? James did. I knew I was getting the ring.

Who is more sensitive? I am. I've seen him get teary eyed once. When we got married.

Who has more friends? I have more friends. But James still hangs out with childhood friends.

Who has more siblings? I do. I have 6 siblings. I have 3 sisters and three brothers.
James has 4 siblings. 4 sisters.

Back in the groove of things

I have been so busy these past two weeks. We finally found a place to call our own. And I have been trying to get my life back in some kind of order. So now that all the boxes are unloaded and things all have their place. I can begin to get back to the normal routine around here. Well the other day we attended a fundraiser for the YWCA which helps women of domestic abuse. They held it at the Hollywood Connection as you can see the boys had a lot of fun. This was the boys first time roller skating.

Fall is here

Some of my favorite things about fall approaching
-The cold weather
-The warm clothes
-The holidays approaching
-The smell of the crisp air
-The trees changing colors
Most people don't enjoy the cold weather or the rainy days during fall, but there is nothing better than being able to get in your pajamas curl up on the couch with a blanket wrapped around and watching movies and drinking hot chocolate.

Must Read

If you haven't read this book you need to. I just finished reading it and I loved it.
It had me laughing 99.9% of the time. I love how honest and truthful this book is about motherhood.

Doing so much, so little time

Well we have been up to a lot of stuff. I've been so busy. James is really enjoying his job he works for VCBO Architeture Co. He is in charge of their Marketing Department. We have been doing a lot with family. We just recently went to the Greek Festival and it was so much fun. We have never been and thought we should check it out. I think the boys enjoyed the greek dancers the best.

BBQ with Friends

We got invited out to a BBQ that Audrey's mom was having. We had really good food and it was nice to catch up with my best friend Audrey and her family. I really miss Audrey. But we plan on seeing each other every six months. Also a big thank you to Verna and Jose for having us over.

Together again

We were so excited when we found out that Audrey, Tony, A.J. and logan were coming to U*. We had to see them. We went with them to the Natural History Museum. As you can tell they enjoyed spending time with each other.

Me and my sisters decided to take our kids to the park. We went to a bird show, then we went on some amusement rides that were at the park.
