Recap of October in pictures.

Well the month of October was a crazy month. I decided to sum up the whole month in pictures.

10/04/09
Jakob helping Grandma K. make cookies. Grandma was putting an apron on Jakob and he told her girls wear aprons around their waist but boys wear them around their necks.

10/24/09
We took a mini vacation to Tempe, Arizona. James' good friend Jeff was getting married. We had a lot of fun we spent the morning at the Phoenix Zoo. Then later that evening we attended Jeff and Michelle's wedding.

10/25/09
We stopped at the Grand Canyon. Jakob really enjoyed it. He wanted us to read every sign and wanted his picture taken from every outlook.

We found a little deli on the way out of the canyon and told Jakob the name of the deli was called Jacob deli and he said we are going to eat at a deli named after me. My boys are so funny they make road trips so interesting.

10/25-27/09
We stayed at James' parents house on the way to Phoenix and on our way back home.
Archer is Mobile now. He army crawls everywhere.

Jakob: Dad who are you suppose to be?
James: I'm a superhero?
Jakob: Where is your symbol on your chest?
James: I don't have One.
Jakob: Hold on dad I'll make you one.
Jakob went into the kitchen and pulled out his markers and Scissors and made James a symbol. It had a S and D on it James asked Jakob what it stood for and Jakob said "SUPER DAD".

Family Reunion

James' family had a reunion at a cabin last week. It was a lot of fun. We went up a night earlier and took the boys camping. We roasted marshmallows (And lucky for us Jakob picked out strawberry marshmallows to roast to make into s'mores.) I would suggest not using strawberry ones but the boys didn't care what they tasted like they were getting sugar before bed. This was also Archer's first time camping and he was a trooper he slept through the whole night. (I love that baby)
Archer ready for his first night of camping.

Kaeden teaching Archer the correct way to roast a marshmallow.

Jakob showing off his masterpiece.

The next morning we decided to go fishing before everyone else came up.

And have a picnic by the creek. The boys spent at least 2 1/2 hours throwing rocks into the creek.

We had a great trip:
Fishing

Madeline and her Dad (Chuck) with the fish she caught.

Hiking:

Playing with Cousins all day:

We can't wait until the next one.
