Christmas preparation recap
Well I haven't been that good on keeping up on the blogging as I should be. Well to recap some of the things we have been up to. We got our Christmas tree on the 1st of December and we decorated it if you notice all the decorations on the lower half of the tree are non-existant. Thanks to Kaeden and his love of pulling them off the tree and throwing them. Some day I will have a fully decorated tree again.
And this year Jakob made it a point that he wanted to be the one to put the star on.
We also got a very big storm last week. And Jakob was so excited. James wasn't as thrilled to be shoveling snow again after having two years off.
Jakob wanted to build a snowman so James and Jakob created a masterpiece snowman.
And the rest of this week has been Shopping
And more shopping............

The Big Night
I love Halloween!!!! I have always enjoyed Halloween night. I think a lot of why I loved it so much was that as a kid I got to stay up late on a school night. Plus free candy.... We had such a fun night. Jakob has never really been that interested in going around and getting candy but something changed this year. The minute we got to the trunk or treat we couldn't stop him. He even asked us if he could go around the neighborhood and trick or treat. James and I thought he would last for maybe 15 minutes. But 2 hours later we were still going. James and I decided that he had enough candy. But he didn't agree we literally had to pick him up and carry him home screaming "Just one more house" So we had a successful night and a lot of fun.

Best Halloween book

I got this book for Jakob last year. I read it to him every Halloween. I think I found it funnier than he did. It is such a reminder for me of what I remember about Halloween as a kid. If you haven't read it yet you need to get it.

Back in the groove of things
I have been so busy these past two weeks. We finally found a place to call our own. And I have been trying to get my life back in some kind of order. So now that all the boxes are unloaded and things all have their place. I can begin to get back to the normal routine around here. Well the other day we attended a fundraiser for the YWCA which helps women of domestic abuse. They held it at the Hollywood Connection as you can see the boys had a lot of fun. This was the boys first time roller skating.
